Eviction Prevention Program
The Eviction Prevention Program works with housing providers to:
- Proactively address issues that could lead to eviction
- Connect tenants to financial assistance, mediation, and support services
- Help maintain stable housing and prevent homelessness
Why refer early?
Early referrals give tenants the best chance to:
- Resolve arrears or financial issues
- Access community supports
- Avoid eviction and maintain housing stability
Who can access the Eviction Prevention Program?
The Eviction Prevention Program is not open to the public. It is a targeted support initiative for the local community and affordable housing providers to refer individuals and families at risk of eviction.
