What is the By-Name List? 

The By-Name List is a confidential list of people in Haldimand and Norfolk who are experiencing homelessness and have consented to be on it. It helps local agencies work together to provide the right support quickly and effectively. The list also: 

• Ensures no one is left behind
• Connects community members to housing and services faster
• Helps us understand the number of people impacted by homelessness in our community, so we can plan better solutions

How it helps you

If you’re homeless or worried about losing your home, joining the By-Name List gives you: 

• Personalized support from our Homeless Prevention Team 
• Access to housing programs, financial help, and community resources 
• A dedicated worker to guide you through the next steps
