If you are experiencing homelessness or at risk of losing your housing, we can help connect you to supports and services in Haldimand and Norfolk.
How we can help
Our team provides:
- Emergency shelter assessment, intake, and referrals
- Housing support programs to help you find and keep housing
- Financial assistance for rent or utilities (if eligible)
- Connections to community resources for food, health care, and counselling
All services are free and confidential.
Programs and services we offer
- Homelessness Prevention Program – help with rent arrears, utility payments, and housing stability, landlord mediation
- Emergency Shelter Referrals – short-term safe places to stay
- Housing Support Services – assistance in finding permanent housing
Who can access services?
Anyone in Haldimand and Norfolk who is:
- Experiencing homelessness (living outside, in a shelter, or in unsafe housing)
- At risk of homelessness (facing eviction, couch-surfing, or fleeing violence)
Supports are available for individuals, families, seniors, and youth
What to expect
- Ask about your current situation
- Assess your needs
- Connect you to housing options, emergency shelter, or other supports.
With consent, your information is added to the By-Name List, which helps us coordinate services and prioritize housing for those most in need.
