How does the Centralized Waiting List work?
- Applications are ranked by the date your complete application is received
- Some households may qualify for Special Priority Status (for victims of abuse or human trafficking). These applications are prioritized over others
- If you live in a unit that is too large for your household, we will add you to the Centralized Waiting List for a unit that fits your household size. Read more about local occupancy standards
- If a housing community has a specific mandate (e.g., seniors), you will only be placed on that list if you meet the mandate
- Applications must be updated annually
Application process
- Complete the online application form. All household members 16+ must sign the consent to disclose.
- Upload and submit any required documents. Applications are only considered complete when all required documents are submitted.
- We will review your application within 30 business days, or within 14 business days for Special Priority Status applications.
- Our Housing Resource Coordinator will contact you once your review is complete.
