Home Ownership Program
Need help buying your first home? Down payment assistance is available to qualified low- to moderate-income households in Haldimand and Norfolk.
What you get:
- Up to 10% of the purchase price as a 20-year interest-free loan
Who is eligible:
- First-time homebuyer or currently renting
- At least 18 years old
- Household income under $118,600 (single) or $140,900 (families); assets under $50,000
- Home price under $705,833
- Home is located in Haldimand or Norfolk
Who is NOT eligible:
- Current home owners
- Anyone purchasing a home outside Haldimand or Norfolk
- Homes priced above the limit or used for rental/investment purposes
- Households exceeding income or asset limits

Complete the online application form and submit with the required documents. Funding is available throughout the year on a first-come, first-served basis.
